Robert D. Parks
Director, Inland Western Retail Real Estate Trust, Inc.
Robert D. Parks has been chairman of the board and a director of Inland Western since inception on March 5, 2003. He is a one of the Inland Group's four original principals; chairman of the board of Inland Western Retail Real Estate Investment Corporation; a director of Inland Securities Corporation; and a director of Inland Investment Advisors, Inc. Mr. Parks is chairman of the board and a director of Inland American Real Estate Trust, Inc. and president, chief executive officer and a director of Inland Western Retail Real Estate Corporation, a New York Stock Exchange listed company. He is also a director of Inland Western Retail Real Estate Exchange Corporation. Mr. Parks is responsible for the ongoing administration of existing investment programs, corporate budgeting and administration for Inland Western Retail Real Estate Investment Corporation. He oversees and coordinates the marketing of all investments and investor relations.
Prior to joining the Inland organization, Mr. Parks taught in Chicago's public schools. He received his B.A. Degree from Northeastern Illinois University and his M.A. Degree from the University of Chicago. He is a registered Direct Participation Program Limited Principal with the National Association of Securities Dealers. He is a member of the Real Estate Investment Association, the Financial Planning Association, the Foundation for Financial Planning as well as a member of the National Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts.
